Nintendo has developed small dishes in the large. More than 1,000 people were gathered yesterday at Amsterdam to discover the first console games in 3D without glasses, marketed by the Japanese firm.
Announced in early 2010, the console could not be distributed, as initially planned for Christmas. It will release on February 26, 2011 at the Japan, March 25 in Europe and March 27 in the US, in two colors (black or blue). The Group hopes to sell 4 million by the end of its fiscal year in March.

The Japanese firm has not revealed the price of its new product in Europe. In the United States, which stood at the same time a press conference, information was given: the console will be sold 249 $. Greater than the ISD, the new console is distinguished from its competitor, the Sony PSP by its new 3D technology. Always composed of two screens (the a touchscreen with the stylus and the other in 3D), it is sufficient to move across the screen from the top to view the images in relief. A wheel allows to adjust the intensity of the 3D, or even without them, which is not redundant, since Nintendo discourages children under six years playing with 3D enabled, function which could affect the development of their eyes.
The console includes also two cameras to take pictures in three dimensions and to share with other users. "The Community aspect is very important", according to Stéphane Bole, CEO of Nintendo France, and this new console put many on the sharing of content and network games.
Soon 25 games available
About 25 games will be available here in June. The largest video game developers were to rendezvous for future products that will accompany the release of the console. The Executive producer of the games PES, Shinji Enomoto, came in person present "Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 3D". Finally, many well known games to the public ("Zelda", "Street Fighter", "Dead or Alive", "Kid Icarus,"nintendogs Cats"...") to remake a youth by incorporating 3D.
The new console will also read films in 3D through partnerships with Warner Bros, Disney and DreamWorks.
A pioneer in technological revolutions in the burgeoning field of video games, Nintendo big plays with this new console. The results of the group have slowed over the past two years. In issue, the impact of changes in foreign exchange, but also the slight decrease in sales of its portable consoles and Wii consoles. The recent output of the Playstation Move and Kinect, Microsoft case to play on the Xbox console without joysticks, is not likely to arrange the situation of Nintendo. As Sony plans to get a new PSP in the coming months. But the Japanese group seems little concerned about the competition. The development of the games on "smartphones" and bars disrupts not Nintendo. "We are in a content industry", provides Stéphane Bole. "We offer our users experience games different, surprising, that are not found elsewhere." The 3DS seem beautiful days before it...
